Disk Usage not showing reality..

Have a user who's showing over 1100mb used.

When I do du -csh * on his /home/user directory, showing me less then 500mb used. I looked at his database usage and mailing list, both add less then 60mb more.

I've also done a manual update on his account, but no change.

Any thoughts where 600mb of data could be hiding?

You looked only for mailing lists, maybe his emails are taking much space (if it's mbox format - it's not in the user home directory)
