I have some problem with root@ messages on my servers.

I have 2 servers.
a.myserver.com
b.myserver.com

Directadmin sends messages to root@a.myserver.com and root@b.myserver.com.

I cant create domains a.myserver.com and b.myserver.com.

Directadmin write:
"The provided domain name matches your hostname. The domain must not match your hostname."

What can i do?

What are you trying to do? Are you trying to get the mail or create the domains?

No you cannot. You cannot create a domain that is the same as the hostname. Change the hostname to server.server.com and then add b.server.com to the user level and you will be able to create email for it.

But I thought you wanted to create the domain for the user level but you keep coming back to wanting email for the hostname which is something different. You can already get email for user@b.server.com. You cannot get it for root. Root mail needs to be aliased to another users or email address. This is a separate issue that just adding a domain.

Why don't you tell us what you really want to accomplish. Are you trying to get email or did you want to set up a web site for b.server.com?
