upgrading exim (redhat 8.0)

I noticed i am running exim 4.24 and their appears to be a new version out (4.30)

how should i upgrade this? also what other programs should i check that may need to be upgraded that come installed with DA admin (such as php and anything else not installed with an rpm)

Hello,

You can either wait until I release the build of exim 4.30, or you'll have to get it yourself... Note that there isn't anything in new 4.30 that DA requires, so it's low on the priority list.

You can look at:
http://www.directadmin.com/install.html
at the bottom, to see what versions of things we currently use, and compare that to the versions of things you have. The compiled items can be updated using the customapache build script. (search forum for customapache, it's all over)
