I accidentally deleted the public html file in admin
is there a way to restore the admin defaults? what
can I do?

All you can do is either 1) re-create the public_html folder and re-upload the website or 2) delete the domain, and re-create it so that the defaults will re-appear (You'll lose all email settings and things like that if you use #2)

I accidentally did the same thing, and you said.
re-create the public_html folder - John, How would one go about doing this? I dont as much care about salvaging my website, because I had just torn it down for a top-bottom rebuild. But please expand on this.

Go into the directory of the domain in question (/home/username/domains/domain.com/) and create the public_html directory, as if you were creating any other directory,
and then chmod it 750.
It can all be done through the FileManager as far as I know.
