DA is not upgrading automatically to a new version. We have to start upgrade b y hand, everytime theres a new update

Whats wrong with the auto update?

Are you using SSL (https) for DA ?
If so, DA won't update automatically (yet?) then.

John has to send the update to all servers if he wants.

It doesn't update itself automatically.

Hello,

Generally what I do is make the release public, wait a few days just in case there are any problems, and then force the updates a few days later. This saves us being swarmed with emails if there is a small bug. It allows us to make another release and also saves a lot of bandwidth by not sending it out to everyone. It will update automatically, just have to wait until it's forced.

Also, ssl connections with DA should work fine with the forced updates. Our notification system can handle that now.
