Hi,
I'm currently running SquirrelMail 1.4.2.
Who do I upgrade to 1.4.9a, and is this version stable?

Thanks!

Yes, it's stable. Use this command:

# cd /usr/local/directadmin/scripts && ./squirrelmail.sh

Can I user that script?
Will the settings in the old version remain the same?

Our experience in the past has been that all settings remain the same. However if you've changed the login page to link to a password change (as explained elsewhere in these forums) you'll have to do it again.

Disclaimer: I haven't tried this particular update yet.

I did run the script now, but the only thing that happend was this:

[root@server scripts]# ./squirrelmail.sh
--00:33:40-- http://files.directadmin.com/services/all/squirrelmail-1.4.9a.tar. gz
=> `/usr/local/directadmin/scripts/packages/squirrelmail-1.4.9a.tar.g z'

Then it stopped?

It should be done, the other commands just don't output any feedback if I remember correctly.

Just load up domain.com/squirrelmail and check if its the latest version.

Nope, it's the same old version.

Maybe I should contack support.
