Not at the moment. Doubt it will be in the short run, because first the RedHat line needs to be continued.

Oh well, that sucks.
I am not planning on going back to RedHat.

By the way, maybe Freebsd is an option ?

Yes FreeBSD is supported so you can choose FreeBSD. Personally I would really suggest DA as your control panel. Mark and John are continously making the product better and give really great support.
But it's up to you ofcourse.

Well, i am very intrested so DA has my first choice.
I have been working with Redhat 7/8/9 releases and Debian and Suse.
I have no experience with FreeBSD, maybe someone could give me some + and - about FreeBSD.

Firstly, this is the wrong place to be asking for advice on other panels ;)
At the moment the supported list is:
RHL 7.2
RHL 7.3
RHL 8.0
RHL 9.0
FBSD 4.8
FBSD 4.9
FBSD 5.0 (BETA)
FBSD 5.1 (BETA)
RHEL has been estimated in a month or two then I think debian is to follow sometime after that.
For any ideas when debian is possibly expected you will have to contact sales or wait for them to respond here :)

Not sure when FBSD 5.0 / 5.1 DA will be officially released - if you have a few weeks before you need then you could go with 5.0 / 5.1 else you would need 4.8 / 4.9 for now :)

DA Beta for FreeBSD 5.0-5.2 is ready to go, we have a fair bit of testers but wouldn't mind a couple more with 5.0 and 5.2. About 5 more testers and that's it.

FreeBSD is considered my many to be a more mature product than Linux. This stems from the fact that Unix was tweaked over the last 30+ years. It is stable, highly configurable and can run almost everything that runs on Linux. FreeBSD is directly suppored by teams at Apple and Yahoo.
As far as a version is you need it up now stick with 4.9 for now. Not that their are many problems with DirectAdmin running on FreeBSD 5.x. The 5.0 branch was made from the code released for FreeBSD 4.0, and is not based on the 4.x releases and therefore a different beast.
As has been said here "How far from completion" (http://directadmin.com/forum/showthread.php?s=&threadid=1597), DirectAdmin for FreeBSD 5 is almost done.
If you have some time and plan on using a multi-processor box then try out 5.1. The 5 series added better SMP support, otherwise most people won't see a difference between the 4.x and 5.x series.
