admin change dns bug

If changing admin dns it add a dns entry with two dot at end (not one)
and it should see if dns entry doesn't exist first

can you include an example with the exact values entered in order to duplicate this? I'm not able to figure out how to get it to do that.

I don't have a server to try now, all are on production.
So i can't change.
It happends me several times when changing dns for admin.
