im just updating from apache 1 to apache 2 and I notice I have the same set of modules in /etc/httpd/modules and /usr/lib/apache.
do I need them in both places or are they stored in different places for each version of apache?
also say I have perl installed on my machine and also mod_perl, are they two completely different things? does mod_perl rely on the install of perl in any way?
