ERROR: Database do not exist!

hi, I get an error trying to connect to a database created through MySql setup in the control panel.

Step 1
Please select : Create new database Use existing database
Database host :
Database name :
Database username :
Database password :
Admin E-Mail :
Site name :
Site URL : Ending / needed

I have got all the details for the above, but am unsure about the database host.

Could someone provide me with the details I need.

the "host" is always "localhost" (unless your database is on a different server)

Hello,

None of your mysql users will have the privileges to create a database. You must first create the database and users through DirectAdmin.
