I am a "reseller" on ProWebSpace and currently evaluating their application of DirectAdmin.

In working with a "User" domain, I attempted to setup several POP3 email accounts. The first one was established without a hitch.

The second was to be "Postmaster@xxxxxxx.com." We use the "Postmaster" account as a catchall. Result:

Error creating account
Details
Invalid Username

If "Postmaster" is a restricted name, why? ... or otherwise please reconcile.

If there is a list invalid usernames, how due I monitor / adjust.

Thank you ... res00186

It's the capital letters.
Emails are restricted to lowercase.

The capital "P" in Postmaster was indeed the culprit. Thank you for the assistance ... and I think the recommendation for auto caps (internal) conversion is a good one ... res00186
