php 4.3.4 install problems

I am posting this as things go, not sure what happened yet but I will let you know. During the install of 5.1 I get the following error


/usr/bin/ld: cannot find -lltdl

I'm not too sure. Their configure script is supposed to take care of all that stuff.. arg.. if you want, send your ip/root pass.
