URGENT server up but no services issue

I can get in SSH on the server, pstree shows the below, can anyone see anything suspect with it?

I have tried restarting the services but doesn't help.

Try looking at your log files, or posting what error messages you get when trying to start them by hand.

Ok I found that nothing was working due to iptables. But I still think there is something up with the server.

at random times it starts to use massive amounts of bandwidth and doesn't stop until it is rebooted.

No errors on starting services.

chkrootkit show up all is clean and ok.
