My client gets the error below when trying to create a pop3 account:

What would be the cause of this?

Perhaps the file is owned by root instead of DirectAdmin user?

Hello,

Check that the domain in question isn't suspended as the domain's directory in the /etc/virtual path has it's name changed when the domain is suspended.

User Panel -> Advanced Options -> Host Additional Domains -> check for suspension and unsuspend.

that is happening to me now. But eh domain never was suspended.
It dont have any folder in /etc/virtual, indeed has 3 broken symlinks...How can i fix it?

Also check for /etc/virtual/domain.com_off to see if the domain was suspended and the directory wasn't renamed. Failing that, you'll have to either recreate the domain, or manually create the directory and files.
