Hello i've just installed a languagepack but now DirectAdmin fails to restart/reload. I get the following error if i try it manually:

flux:/var/log/directadmin# /etc/init.d/directadmin restart
Stopping DirectAdmin: [ FAILED ]
Starting DirectAdmin: [ OK ]

flux:/var/log/directadmin# /etc/init.d/directadmin reload
Reloading DirectAdmin config file: [ FAILED ]

What could be wrong? I've checked the config files for extra spaces, but it don't seems to be that issue.

Please help someone?

Check for errors in /var/log/directadmin/error.log or /var/log/directadmin/system.log

hi there,

Im unable to restart directadmin myself at this present time, however its for a different reason to yours... Before I go into details you might want to try what I did, as it will spout an error to the screen giving you somewhere to start your troubleshooting.

If I stop the directadmin process an do

# cd /usr/local/directadmin/
# ./directadmin

Unable to read config file. Unable to open /usr/local/directadmin/conf/directadmin.conf for reading.<br>
<br>
Segmentation fault

I get the following which I have no idea how to solve as the file is there and has the right chmod permissions :(
