Hi all!
I have freehost service with approximately 1500 users.
Each user has its own config file. So during apache startup all these httpd.conf-s must be parsed.
Thats why Apache starts really slowly
Is there any way to reduce avoid this problem?

Hmm...last I looked, DA uses a single httpd.conf file that includes all the individual client ones as part of it.
Not much you can do to speed things up I'm afraid. Shouldn't take all that long though...on a 200-300 site server happens in seconds...
What kind of machine are you running? That has a lot to do with it.

You've already got plenty of memory. 2.4G processor may be the slowdown.
High high does the servload (from the first line of the top command) get whle apache is restarting?
