New Install General Questions

Hope you guys can clear up a couple of questions:

The DA website refers to a clean install of RedHat, and mentions not to install Apache, Exim etc as they are installed by the DA Team.

Am I right in assuming that the install of services such as Apache and Exim is done when the DA Team do the install, AND also when an end user does the install (following the instruction on the install web page) him/herself?

If Apache, Exim etc are installed, are basic configurations applied to Apache, Exim etc, or is that something that the server admin needs to do as a final step him/herself as root.

Hi there!

Whether you have the DA staff install DirectAdmin, or you do it yourself, all major services are downloaded and installed automatically by the installer. All configuration is done by the installer, and it is a very fast (and simple) process.
