OK, started out by my host installing the right license on the wrong server, honest mistake. He got the right license installed soon enough, so everything was all good. But then, I noticed that when I logged in, the page turned white, it was just blank, I contacted my host, and he said my license was invalid. I went into the shell and updated my lid/cid from root console, and it said permission denied. I launched setup.sh in hopes that maybe it was a configfile error, but alas it's messed everything over. If possible, can I contract someone to fix it back to the way it was, I have about 25-30 customers and I have backups of mysql.conf, and the entire /usr/local/directadmin/ directory in /root. Thanks!

Some details about my box:

CentOS 4.2
Needs PHP 5.1.1+hardened-php patch
Needs Apache 2.0.5.2
Needs to NOT HAVE ZEND (hate the stuff..)
Needs to have Ioncube loaders

Needs to have /root/httpd.conf restored, because all my customers include's are in it :/

Zach,

To get fastest response:

If you own your own DirectAdmin license you should immediately contact the sales department; the contact information is here (http://www.directadmin.com/support.html).

If your license comes with a system from your hosting company, then you need to deal with them.

The second option applies to me, but they said it was beyond the scope of their tech support. So I figured i'd come here, and maybe I could have someone paid to fix it. My host has already replaced the license twice. I was even given a new LID/CID, but that doesn't seen to work either. I may just post a ticket, and hope they can do something, but i'd rather the creators or some sort of support team fix it.

We'd be happy to take your money to fix it (always send email to us; we only read private messages once a day or so), but I don't see how we could; if it's not the right UID/GID (which is still a possibility) only the purchaser of the license can get it fixed.

If I'm misunderstanding something, call or write me if you wish.

Jeff
