Email system not working..

When I try to email something to myself. from prince@valhosting.net to prince@valhosting.net I can receive it. Although if I try to mail from my other email address prince@ptd.net to prince@valhosting.net I get a mailer-daemon response saying:

<prince@valhosting.net>:
Sorry, I couldn't find a mail exchanger or IP address. (#5.4.4)

When I try to email from prince@valhosting.net to prince@ptd.net my /var/log/exim/mainlog says it's transferring .. but it's not.

It says it's deliverying locally..?

Could somebody point me in the right direction of going about troubleshooting this?

The mx record for valhosting.net is incorrect. It needs a "." at the end of the "mail.valhosting.net".

The rest of this post isn't to you, but to everyone who refuses to give out real domain information and expects an answer:

Because this poster used real information it took just under ten seconds to come up with the real answer. If the poster had obscured the domain information it could have taken a half hour to come up with various guesses which might or might not have been helpful.

That's why I don't guess if posters don't use real information.
