Hello,

I realy want a little tweak in the backup procedure, i can make a cron and setup the ftp transfer for my resellers to a sepperate place and directory, but when they change something and they dont know the original settings before they changed something, there is a change that the daily backup is not working anymore.

Well it would be great if we can make from the admin side a backup from all resellers so that the domains that belongs to one reseller will be placed in a folder with example resellers name. If i now make a full backup it is putting everything in one folder, and u dont know what belongs to the reseller(s).

Regards,

Mike

This would be a good feature that I like to see also in DirectAdmin.

You've got a good point there!

Resellers can make backups of their users that are totally independent of the user backups.

And admins can backup important directories and files on the server using sysbk, the built-in administrator backup utility.

Jeff i know, and i ask for a feature so a admin can handle the backups for the resellers to. If i setup the backup procedure and some reseller changes the settings and it wont transfer the backups anymore for an example because they dont know ftp user and password.

I must be sure that backups work and if a user can change it i`m not 100% sure it will always work :)
