Hi,

I was wondering if anyone yet had tried to setup (implement) SELinux on a existing and running hosting environment, i have been reading about this for a while and it sounds as music in my ears in terms of security on Linux.

anyone yet tried this with success or not ?
is it possible on a DA system in theorie ?

Thanks in advance and keep up the good job that this forum brings to its users!

Anything is possible, including, as I've written here before, striking a match on a wet cake of soap.

Some things are harder than others.

We've decided that we're not ready for SELinux yet; you may be.

The biggest issues will be to know the users the various daemons switch to, so you can give those users the rights they need.

You can install it and set it up to warn, and check your warnings.
