protected directory doesn't work, the same as filemanager

I found out 1 month ago that my filemanager doesn't work. It just give's error 404 from my browser.

But now a client wanted to use protected directorie's and that also doesn't work, the same problem. I didn't tested is because i'm not interrested in that, next time it is better to try everything.

But what is the solution?

I'm not sure why the FileManager isn't working. If you send us your login information, and root password (if you have it) to support@directadmin.com, I'd be happy to have a look for you. :) (ip, da username/pass, root pass)
