Hi,

I would like to request a feature to be implemented asap. I would like at least the admins to be able to access SSH via the DA admin panel online.

Like the cPanel ssh access for users.

Thats just a java applet, do a search on hotscripts.com for it.

Or alternatively download a tiny filed named putty for windows or jellyfish for mac which also keeps DA pointless feature free :D

True that, i havent come accross a system ive had to use more than one time without a ssh client on it...

I do have putty, its just when i am away and need to access SSH from my works network i cant because of the firewall and proxy servers.

The SSH java applet will not help you on this.. It downloads itself to your machine locally and still does the connection through the local computer to the server...


You will need to setup a proxy for this to work...

If such is so with your network, you shouldnt even be able to get into DirectAdmin...

Don't happen to be the network admin do you?
