Hi Guys

I need to find a dedicated server provider. I've made some bad choices in the past choosing a provider and would greatly appreciate any info you could give on who to sign up with.

Many Thanks :-)

Unmanaged? or managed?

Unmanaged theres a host of US datacentres - www.ev1servers.net for one (I used to have servers in there)

or in the UK unmanaged try Rackspace or www.ncuk.com

Hope this helps,

Rob

I've used Bocacom.net for over 2 yrs - EXCELLENT service - DA specialists... definately worth looking into. Call the number on the site and speak directly to the owners!

Good luck

I have been using tranxactglobal.com for years now and I would definately recommend them. The only downside is expect around a week for the server to be online after it is ordered but it is definately worth the wait. Their network is fantastic.

I think it's more to do with them supporting existing users first rather than making quick cash on new clients. When I got my first server with them a few years ago their setup was slow and a few months ago it was still the same when I ordered another so it doesn't really sound like growing pains but I could be wrong.
