What does dataskq do?

This program ( /usr/local/directadmin/dataskq ) is run by cron every minute, I was wondering what it's actually used for or what is does or handles?

That is DirectAdmin's task manager. It checks all the services to make sure they are running and try to restart them if they are not. It's also used for other things, such as reseller level backups or other time intensive tasks.
