Is there a way to assign dedicated ips to multiple domains in a user's account?

Not currently, no. Not sure when it will be added either.

There is a workaround, however, and that involves a reseller account, and creating completely separate 'accounts' for each domain.

DirectAdmin only support 1 IP per User... need more IPs, you'd to create more Users. DA 2 (no work done on it yet) will have not only have multiple ip's per user, but also mutiple IP's per domain, which will allows for painless domain transfers and IP changes.
