Hello,

Is there anybody that can help me to start SSHD? When I try to do it with DirectAdmin (CMD_SERVICE?action=start&service=sshd) than I get the following text:

An error has occurred

Details

There is not a single detail noticed. If someone has an idea on how I can fix it I would be thankfull. I can't manage the server very well without SSH.

OS: Debian 3.1

I did notice it today.

If you can't get your DC to look into it, have you tried restarting the server?

I don't want to restart the server because it is possible that it doesn't start totally. I can restart it when I know for certain that the server starts (the other services, for http/ftp/mail/nameserver).

See if your DC staff can do anything. Other than that in I can't think of any other solutions...

I'm working on an emergency console emulator through DA's plugin system but I can't start development until the next DirectAdmin release.

Just a restart was the solution (thanks for the idea jmstacey)
