httpd Died suddenly

httpd died on my suddenly, I have been up all night trying to fix it. I have tried every meathod in the forums to fix it, I even tried doing a work around with using yum to install httpd and php but could not get at the domains. I am extremely upset.

Installing httpd RPMs through yum will break everything. You should remove the RPMs and reinstall everything through customapache.

One reason httpd could fail would be if the log files are too big, as noted above. Another is you may have too many domains; too many files open. The fix for that is in the office, and I'm not there :( .

It may be posted on these forums; you have to shut off per-domain error logging.
