WS_FTP giving weird errors.

Hello,

We have a client who uses WS_FTP to upload sites to his DirectAdmin server. He says sometimes WS_FTP will hang uploading a large file or set of files... then it will give a connection error until midnight, when something resets and he will be allowed to log in again.

I told him to try a different FTP client... but has anyone ever heard of this problem? In particular, the it-works-after-midnight thing is pretty bizarre. Could that be a setting in ProFTPd?

Proftpd is set to restart whenever a change to the /etc/proftpd.vhosts.conf file is made... if he's uploading when proftpd is restarted, he'd probably be disconnected. I'll change the restart to be reread so he won't be disconnected.
