I found out that Clam AV would need glibc 2.3, before I upgrade I wanted to ask the experts if it was compatible with DA.

Hello,

For DA, it should be fine. DA uses a static binary which isn't dependant on anything. As for the other services, I'm not as sure. Maybe someone has already done it and would like to share their experience.

Glibc 2.3 is not compatible with RH7.3

I can inform you that we are using glibc-2.2.5 on a RH 7.3 server running MailScanner, Clam AV and spam assassin

So do I now ;)

But I had to compile ClamAV from source. The rpm needs glibc 2.3
