how can I transfer a digital certificate from one DA box to another after I move the site.

I'm not sure if there is anything different between a "digital" certificate, as you mentioned, and regular ones, but I would assume you could just copy the certficate/key from the old server, and paste it into the ssl field on the new one. Same for the CA Root certificate.
