Mysql Dbs aren't deleted when account deleted

Hello,
just noticed this. Please confirm if it's so or not.
I deleted a user from the server, and the user had a mysql database created. Well the user files were deleted ok, but the database in /var/lib/mysql still exists, and I had to remove it manually. Is this a bug?
