reseller cant create user

hi,

I converted a user to a reseller but when the new reseller want to create a new user he gets this error.

Unable to create a User

none

You must first own an IP

anyone knows how to fix this?

It's good to leave the solution for future reference. ;)

My guess, From the admin level proceed to the IP management page, select an IP address and assign it to the reseller.

no i converted a user to reseller :P
had to remove and readd him

The actual problem was theat the reseller also was a user within another reseller


like this:

reseller1 > user 1
user 2 (reseller 2)

reseller2 > user 3

a user cant have an ip assigned, only when he's under his own reseller account. so what i did was the following:

reseller1 > user 1

reseller2 > user 2
user 3

Now it works.
