locate

Hi,

When I'm trying to use the locate command, it says:

'warning: locate: warning: database /var/lib/slocate/slocate.db' is more than 8 days old'

How can I help this :)?

updatedb Usually does it.

[nobaloney]

Note that many Virtual Server vendors don't install updatedb and some don't install locate ...

So as to save space on the hard disk.
