apache over apache?

If i buy a dedicated server that has apache yet installed, i need to desinstall it or DA will install his own over it?

Hello,

DirectAdmin will uninstall it and install its own rpms, you don't really need to worry about it too much. We're in the process of changing our installer to move from rpms to the "custom apache" build script, which builds a much nicer and more stable version of apache and php.
