You will have to create a database first. Wich has it's own user/pass.
If your a sysadmin you can find the main "admin" pass in /usr/local/directadmin/conf/mysql.conf
This is not the first time this question is asked, so use the "search" next time!

I maybe have the same problem and discovered is has to do with the length of the password.
I use the random password generator in DA which generates a 8 character password.
Logging on to phpmyadmin does not work....
If I change te password to a 6 or less digits password, the login works correct.
My question to the experts here: can you verify this and can I do something about it i.e. how to set up phpmyadmin to accept 8 digits passwords or how to configure the random password generator in DA to generate 6 digits instead of 8?
Thanks,
Ron.
