Hi
Two questions.
1. Is it possible to set up a hosting account without a domain name attached?
2. Is it possible to change the domain name attached to a hosting account?
Thanks
Wayne

1. Is it possible to set up a hosting account without a domain name attached?Sub-domains should work (e.g., theuser.yourdomain.com)
2. Is it possible to change the domain name attached to a hosting account? Not through DirectAdmin, no, but you can add another domain to their account via DA and simply edit their conf file setting the new domain to primary. If that made sense :)
User files are located: /usr/local/directadmin/data/users/

Actually, you can do this using DA. If you create a 2nd domain in the user's account then remove/delete the original domain, it will make the new one the default/primary. I have done this for a client since it was added.
Added as a feature in Version 1.193 here (http://www.directadmin.com/features.php?id=162)
This will only work if you are going to completely replace the original domain and there is only one domain on the account. If you need multiple domains on the account or it already has multiples then you will need to do what l0rdphi1 said.
