Hello, I just made the final update to DA 1.2, but I can't find the variable max_username_length in /usr/local/directadmin/conf/directadmin.conf. May I put myself the variable there?
And I have another question ;)
How can I create users with only 3 characters, because I realy need them, and DA only let me create users with 4 characters.
Well you just added a max_username_lenght, why can't we have a min_username_lenght?
having min_length_username is usefull. I would like that to be added.

Do the updates from last night - it's now a variable length.

Hello,
Yes, you just add the variable to the directadmin.conf file. I didn't add a min version because it wasn't requested.

Anyway, how can I change a username (from SSH), so the ftp password, emails, DA password, homedir, www domain remains the same?
Because DA don't let me add 4 chars length usernames, I just add usr1 in place of usr, for example.
So I want to rename the user from usr1 to usr? Is that possible?

Sure, but it will require editing a whole bunch of files.
